A counsellor can tailor their approach to work with you to develop counselling approaches that are tailored to your specific needs and preferences. This might involve using visual aids, written materials, structured sessions, or other accommodations to help you engage effectively in the counselling process.


Counselling can enable you to build skills such as developing coping strategies, social skills, emotional regulation techniques, and other tools to manage the challenges associated with your neurodivergence. As well as providing guidance and support as you work on developing these skills.


A counsellor can help you advocate for yourself in various settings, such as at work, school, or in relationships. Empowering you to communicate your needs effectively and assert your rights as a neurodivergent individual.


The therapy of counselling can help you build self-esteem and self-acceptance by focusing on your strengths and unique qualities. Working with you to challenge negative beliefs and perceptions you may have about yourself.
